Dr. Vince Shelby

Dr. Vincent Shelby is a native of Bethany Missouri. He graduated in 1985 from the University of Missouri Columbia. After working for the University of Missouri for a few years he then attended and graduated from Logan Chiropractic College in Chesterfield Missouri in 1991. Dr. Shelby and his wife Linda Shelby then moved to Maryville, MO, and established Shelby Chiropractic Center. Dr. Evans joined the practice in 1998-1999 and Northwest Chiropractic Clinic was established. Dr. Shelby cares for patients from a holistic approach treating not only the structure but the physiologic function of the body as well. He accomplishes this using Applied Kinesiology techniques coupled with Diversified, Gonstead, and Activator adjustive techniques along with acupuncture and nutritionally using Nutrition Response Testing (NRT) technique. Dr. Shelby’s focus is on helping patients achieve optimal health and maximize their quality of life.
Dr. Kevan Evans
Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Kevan Evans is a native of Maryville. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Zoology from Northwest Missouri State University in 1994 and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University in 1997. Dr. Evans moved back to Maryville and joined Dr. Shelby in 1998 to form Northwest Chiropractic Clinic. Dr. Evans spends many hours every year taking post-graduate seminars to expand his knowledge and keep abreast of new technologies and discoveries. His specialties include Certified Applied Kinesiologist, Digestive Enzyme Specialist, Loomis Practitioner, Lebowitz Technique, TTAPS, and Certified Acupuncturist. Dr. Evans enjoys helping his patients overcome difficult conditions and achieve their highest quality of life.
Dr. Darcy Richardson
Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Darcy Richardson is a native of Conception, MO. She graduated in 2018 from Cleveland University-Kansas City with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology as well as a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After graduating from chiropractic school, Dr. Richardson joined the team at Northwest Chiropractic Clinic in Maryville, MO where she worked for a year. In 2019 the clinic added a new location in Stanberry, MO where Dr. Richardson is currently practicing full time. Dr. Richardson uses both manual & instrument-assisted adjustments, nutrition, kinesiology taping, & various soft tissue modalities to help patients get out of pain & amplify their health. She has also had additional training in pediatric & perinatal chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is Webster certified. Webster is a chiropractic technique used throughout pregnancy that includes gentle adjustments and soft tissue releases to make pregnancy a more comfortable experience. Dr. Richardson enjoys treating patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, and what she enjoys most about practicing is helping patients achieve a higher quality of life.
